How old do I need to be to rent a vehicle?
We service plenty of young adults wanting to see the splendour of Cairns and beyond for many reasons, but there are some caveats when it comes to car hire. Throughout the entirety of Australia, you can only rent a car if you are 21 years of age or more. You must hold a full driving license for at least a year prior to your hire, and any customer between 21 and 24 can only hire Economy, Mini, Compact, Standard, and Intermediate vehicles.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation fee is equivalent to one day’s rental at the normal daily rate if the client doesn’t show or makes a cancellation within two hours or after the time nominated for collection.
Does the rental car have insurance?
Our rental cars have full insurance, but customers will have to pay for damages if the vehicle sustains any in the hire period. The amount will depend upon the extent of the vehicle’s damage, and the circumstances of the original incident.
